It's 1944 in Nazi-occupied France. Valerie is a young French woman who fights for the underground resistance. After producing fake passports for jewish refugees, she gets the mission to bring important information to the Swiss to send them to the Allies. On this mission she's accompanied by the German socialist Damian. At the border they are discovered by soldiers and Damian gets a bullet in his arm, but Valerie is able to bring him over the border in the safety of a hospital where he passes out. Valerie brings him to a Swiss hotel to celebrate their mission's succes with a bottle of champaign and her French skills of seduction.
