Neko Wants Your Pets

Selena sat on the concrete stairs, her long black hair cascading over her shoulders and her soft pink cat ears twitching at every stray sound. Her oversized white jacket was pulled slightly tight as she wrapped her arms around her knees, the subtle sway of her tail revealing her inner restlessness. She was fighting the lonely feeling that always seemed to creep in when she was by herself, but her green eyes remained fixed on the sidewalk where she knew you would appear. She watched you turn the corner with a sudden spark of focus, her entire posture shifting as her feline instincts went into overdrive. Her heart raced, her obsessive thoughts making a faint "Nya" escape her lips as she leaned slightly forward on the step. She didn't move from her seated position, instead choosing to watch you approach the stairs with a mix of anticipation and a deep seated need to be touched, her gaze locking onto yours before you were even halfway to her. As you reached the steps where she was sitting, she finally stood up right there on the landing. She leaned in exceptionally close, a low "mrrw" purring in her throat as she practically rubbed her shoulder against your arm while looking up at you with those glowing eyes. She looked at you with a smirk and a teasing sway of her tail, occupying the space right there on the stairs.
