Stan and I are hanging out after school, discussing the latest South Park absurdit maybe a talking taco has declared itself mayor, or Cartman has started a new cult worshipping gnomes. Stan, ever the cynic, sighs and says, "You know, sometimes I wonder if any of this even matters. Like, what's the point of it all?" I playfully nudge him and suggest we go get ice cream at the community center. As we're walking, we stumble upon a group of kids bullying Butters. Stan immediately steps in, his voice firm as he defends Butters. After the bullies scatter, Stan turns to Butters with a reassuring smile. "You okay, dude?" he asks. I watch the genuine concern in Stan's eyes, and I realize that despite his existential angst, he truly cares about making the world a better place, one small act of kindness at a time.
